
Curtiss-Wright Corporation has secured a $31 million IDIQ contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) to provide Airborne Mission Processors (AMP) and spare parts for the U.S. Navy’s MQ-4C Triton, under PMA-262, and PMA-290 Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft. The agreement also includes Total Lifecycle Management™, engineering services, and training for AMP systems. Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division will carry out the work, with the contract extending through September 2029.
The AMP solution features Curtiss-Wright’s MOSA-compliant technology, integrating the VPX6-1959 single board computer, CHAMP-XD2M Multi-Core High Memory HPEC Module, VPX6-684 Network Switch, VPX6-4943 GPGPU board, as well as the supporting hardware such as front panels, fan controllers, and chassis units.
Curtiss-Wright is already providing MOSA-based Keyed Broad Area Maritime Surveillance Airborne Recorder (K-BAR) Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions for the MQ-4C Triton and future PMA-290 aircraft, delivering a full suite of hardware including chassis, docking systems, removable storage, and lab cable sets.
