The development of Russia’s new NV.17 hybrid helicopter has progressed to the technical design phase, following the successful completion of its preliminary and draft design stages. Developed by Heliburo, the NV.17 is a medium-class helicopter intended for various roles, including cargo transport, passenger operations, and fire support. Russia aims to carry out the aircraft’s maiden flight in 2027.
