Lockheed Martin has delivered the final two S-70i medium transport/utility helicopters to the Polish Armed Forces, fulfilling a contract signed in 2021. The delivery, managed by Lockheed’s Polish subsidiary PZL Mielec, marks the completion of the four-unit agreement. Each helicopter is based on the original design of the US Army’s UH-60M Black Hawk. According to Lockheed, the first S-70i delivered to Poland demonstrated its operational capabilities during a recent flood response mission in the country’s southern region.
