The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has recently launched the Anālakṣhya Project, a pioneering initiative focused on advancing metamaterial surface cloaking technology. Spearheaded by researchers at IIT Kanpur, the project aims to bolster India’s defense capabilities by developing advanced systems that shield critical equipment from radar and other surveillance detection. This cutting-edge effort seeks to transform defense applications by creating cloaking technologies that can make objects invisible or significantly harder to detect.
