Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has received a $590 million follow-on production contract from the U.S. Navy for the continued development and deployment of the Next-Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) system. This program aims to strengthen the Navy’s electronic warfare capabilities by disrupting enemy radar and communications, reducing targeting effectiveness, and breaking adversary kill chains. The NGJ-MB system will be integrated into EA-18G Growler aircraft, significantly enhancing their electronic warfare performance in operational missions.
