The UK, Italy, and Japan have officially launched a joint venture to develop a next-generation supersonic fighter jet by 2035, intended to replace the Eurofighter Typhoon. The new venture will be equally owned, with BAE Systems (UK), Leonardo (Italy), and Japan Aircraft Industrial Enhancement Co. Ltd. (JAIEC) each holding a 33.3 percent stake. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the global aerospace and defense industry.
