On December 12, Poland finalized a $310 million contract with General Atomics to acquire MQ-9B SkyGuardian unmanned aerial vehicles. The agreement, signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, marks the country’s first purchase of the SkyGuardian variant of the Reaper drone. Prior to this, Poland had been using MQ-9A Reapers since February 2023 under a lease deal valued at $70.6 million with General Atomics.
