KNDS Deutschland and Rheinmetall’s collaborative entity, ArGe D-LBO, has received a EUR 1.98 billion contract from the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology, and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) to digitize vehicle-based command-and-control systems for the German military. Over the six-year term, the project will see the integration of advanced digital communication and control technologies into multiple vehicle platforms, with ArGe D-LBO leading the full implementation effort.
