Solar Group of India has tested a kinetic counter-drone swarm system under development for the Indian Army. The Bhargavastra micro-missile system demonstrated its capability by neutralizing virtual targets at a range of 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles) and an altitude of 400 meters (1,312 feet). Created by the company’s subsidiary Economic Explosive Ltd., the cost-effective solution integrates a sophisticated command and control system, radar detection, and seeker-guided mini-missiles capable of reaching targets up to 6 kilometers (3.72 miles) away.
