Babcock has been awarded a contract to deliver Pilatus PC-7 MKX training aircraft to the French Air and Space Force and the French Navy. The 795-million-euro ($827.9 million) contract encompasses 22 low-wing trainers, along with integrated through-life support, infrastructure provisions, and pilot gear. These aircraft will be stationed at the Salon-de-Provence Air Base in southern France, where military cadets will undertake initial flight instruction prior to advancing into fighter and transport pilot positions.
