As part of a 2023 agreement, Morocco has received its initial shipment of Bayraktar Akinci drones from Turkey. The semi-official military platform Forum FAR Maroc verified the delivery, describing it as an important development in strengthening cooperation between the Royal Moroccan Air Force and Turkey’s defense industry. While the number of drones supplied has not been revealed, this delivery represents the commencement of preparations to bring the sophisticated systems into active service.
