The French Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) has awarded a €480 million ($502.7 million) contract to Airbus Defence and Space to create a communications infrastructure for the nation’s surface and underwater naval forces. The agreement covers the system’s design, rollout, and maintenance, with integration planned for more than 80 ships from 2028 to 2032.
