In a joint effort, Maritime Tactical Systems (MARTAC) and Sealartec have revealed a next-generation autonomous launch and recovery system (ALARS) designed for unmanned surface vessels. The new capability allows MARTAC’s Devil Ray T38 USV to autonomously deploy and retrieve the smaller MANTAS T8 (2.5 meters) and T12 (3.6 meters) platforms. The parent vessel, the Devil Ray T38, measures 11 meters in length and serves as a mothership for various mission sets.
