The US Navy has received the HUGIN Superior AUV prototype from Kongsberg Discovery as part of a large-scale underwater drone program. The prototype passed acceptance testing in Norway earlier this year and was previously subjected to an in-depth technical review by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) last year.
