To bolster its counter-explosive efforts, the Australian Defence Force (ADF) has received deployable SPUR (Squad Packable Utility Robots) Remote Positioning Vehicles – Light from Babcock Australasia. These lightweight, backpack-carried robots are designed to support the ADF’s search and ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) operations, offering improved situational awareness and added safety for personnel in high-risk environments.
