The DRDO and Indian Navy have conducted a test launch of a homegrown underwater sea mine. Called the Multi-Influence Ground Mine, it is designed to boost naval defense against stealth ships and submarines by using sensors that detect multiple vessel-generated signatures, including acoustic, magnetic, and electric fields.
