Spain’s Indra has tested its Nemus AESA radar on Leopard tanks to counter modern battlefield threats, especially drones.
The lightweight radar can resist jamming, operate in harsh weather, and distinguish false targets.
Trials held at the Zaragoza-based Armored Units Instruction Center confirmed the system’s ability to spot and track drones, projectiles, and anti-tank threats. The tests build on similar evaluations conducted in July 2024 in Guadalajara.
