Sweden has chosen Lockheed Martin’s TPY-4 radar to enhance its air surveillance and threat detection capabilities, with deliveries slated for 2027.
This ground-based radar system employs Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technology and is built to operate in electronically contested environments, delivering accurate real-time tracking of airborne threats.
With its scalable design, the TPY-4 can support both current and future mission demands, including early warning against ballistic missile threats and 90-degree vertical scanning for improved situational awareness.
