
Bell Textron Inc. announced at the 2025 Paris Air Show the signing of a purchase agreement for 12 SUBARU Bell 412EPX helicopters with the Tunisian Air Force, representing the first regional acquisition of this model. The helicopters will support multi-role military and security missions, further strengthening Tunisia’s rotary-wing fleet, which now includes 39 Bell helicopters such as the UH-1, 205, and OH-58.
The Bell 412 series is celebrated for its robust design and mission flexibility, with over 54% of its global fleet currently operating in defense and public safety roles. Recent operators of the Bell 412 include the Japan Coast Guard, San Diego Fire and Rescue, and interior ministries in Croatia and Sarajevo Canton.
The SUBARU Bell 412EPX offers exceptional payload performance, with a maximum internal weight of 12,200 lbs, an external weight limit of 13,000 lbs, and a 5,000 lb cargo hook capacity, enabling it to efficiently carry out a wide range of mission profiles.
