Germany’s Diehl Defence and Spain’s Sener have formalized a new partnership to co-develop cutting-edge defense technologies, including hypersonic missiles, remote carriers, and unmanned ground systems.
The collaboration is geared toward supporting the Future Combat Air System (FCAS), a next-generation European air combat program jointly led by France, Germany, and Spain.
The companies will focus on contributing advanced subsystems like precision-guided munitions and unmanned platforms critical to the FCAS ecosystem.
Diehl and Sener have maintained a successful working relationship for more than two decades, highlighted by their joint work on the widely adopted IRIS-T missile system.
