Lobster Robotics and the Dutch Ministry of Defence are collaborating to adapt the Scout underwater drone for military missions.
Though originally built for the commercial sector, the Scout’s ability to locate and classify objects underwater makes it a strong fit for naval operations such as mine hunting and undersea surveys.
The system integrates cutting-edge imaging, specialized lighting, and smart mapping technology to quickly deliver detailed views of the seafloor, streamlining operations by eliminating extensive manual video processing.
