At the Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025 event, Ukraine’s STG presented a thermal camouflage poncho developed to counter enemy detection systems.
The design uses infrared suppression technology to lower a soldier’s heat profile and limit detection by thermal sensors.
Effective at ranges of 100 meters in forests and 250 meters in open fields, the poncho enhances survivability in contested environments.
