Toronto-based Seneca Polytechnic is extending its artificial intelligence capabilities beyond academia and into training programs for the Canadian Armed Forces.

The institution has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Military Personnel Generation Training Group at Canadian Forces Base Borden, granting the military access to Seneca’s internally developed AI tools.

Under the agreement, the same AI platforms currently used by students and faculty will be deployed to support the training of active CAF personnel as well as new recruits.
