Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) has formalized a partnership with Airbus Helicopters to advance crewed-uncrewed teaming capabilities using the RSAF’s H225M Medium Lift helicopter and the Flexrotor unmanned aerial system. The agreement seeks to explore how this integration can enhance situational awareness and mission success through a live flight demonstration.
Airbus’ newly developed HTeaming system will be integrated aboard the RSAF’s H225M, allowing its crew to remotely operate the Flexrotor. This demonstration aims to prove the effectiveness of Airbus’ teaming technology and the operational advantages of combining crewed and uncrewed aerial platforms.
The HTeaming system, recently introduced by Airbus, is a modular package consisting of a modem, four antennas, a tablet, and software.
