Baykar has successfully tested the Murad 100-A AESA radar on its Akinci long-range unmanned combat aerial vehicle. Built by Aselsan, the radar is intended for advanced surveillance and fire control functions and will be installed on Turkey’s Akinci drones and upgraded F-16s. The radar also plays a crucial role in the Ozgur upgrade for F-16 Block 30s, with trials already completed on the fighter jets in 2024.
