At Bordeaux-Mérignac airport, the French Navy conducted the first flight of its Falcon 2000LXS Albatros maritime surveillance and intervention aircraft. This milestone comes after the 2020 contract award from Paris to Dassault Aviation for up to 12 aircraft that will succeed the military’s Falcon 50 Surmar and Falcon 200 Guardian aerial patrol units.
