An unspecified number of Greek S-300 air defense systems may soon be transferred to Armenia, which is actively pursuing comprehensive military modernization through new arms acquisitions. The Greek military is reportedly in the advanced stages of replacing its S-300PMU1 surface-to-air systems, along with its short-range Tor-M1 and Osa-AK units, with more advanced Western alternatives. This shift is largely driven by difficulties in maintaining Russian-made equipment, as international sanctions have disrupted the supply of spare parts.
