The third of four MQ-4C Triton drones ordered by Australia has completed its testing phase at Northrop Grumman’s California facility, moving the program closer to delivery. The aircraft will be relocated to Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, for calibration trials alongside the previously delivered second Triton. Upon completion of testing, the drones are slated for transfer to the Royal Australian Air Force later in the year, with deployment planned at RAAF Base Tindal.
