Western Baltic Engineering, a Lithuanian shipbuilding firm, has presented the conceptual design for the Lithuanian Navy’s Perkūnas (Thunder) class patrol boats. This milestone aligns with Vilnius’ strategic objective to field advanced maritime security platforms equipped with “state-of-the-art” features to strengthen specialized missions and safeguard critical infrastructure. Each patrol boat will measure 88 meters (289 feet) in length and have a 17-meter (56-foot) beam.
