The EDGE Group of the United Arab Emirates has partnered with French naval shipbuilder CMN NAVAL to form AD NAVAL, a new joint venture based in Abu Dhabi focused on producing small to medium naval vessels. With €7 billion ($7.5 billion) in existing orders, the initiative will cover platforms such as corvettes, offshore patrol vessels, fast interceptors, trimarans, and landing craft. The collaboration also aims to integrate EDGE’s cutting-edge autonomous, radar, cyber, and weapon technologies into future AD NAVAL builds for non-NATO clients.
