Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer has introduced a refreshed paint scheme for its KC-390 Millennium military transport aircraft.

The updated airframe and design will be used as the standard demonstrator at international defense shows, marketing campaigns, and trade exhibitions, while still allowing customization options for future customers.

Embraer stated the new livery reflects its strategy to strengthen the KC-390’s global profile and meet increasing demand. The demonstrator is expected to appear at major aerospace and defense events before the end of 2025 as part of expanded marketing and production efforts.

The KC-390 Millennium measures 35 meters (115 feet) in length, with a payload capacity of up to 26,000 kilograms (57,320 pounds) or 80 troops. It carries 35,000 kilograms (77,162 pounds) of fuel and is powered by two IAE V2500-E5 turbofan engines. The aircraft can exceed 500 knots (926 kilometers/575 miles per hour), has a range of 4,570 nautical miles (8,464 kilometers/5,259 miles), and a maximum altitude of 11,000 meters (36,089 feet).

Designed for versatility, the KC-390 can be deployed in logistics transport, medical evacuation, firefighting, humanitarian missions, and search-and-rescue operations. It can also be equipped with electronic warfare systems, self-defense suites, and countermeasures, enhancing survivability in contested environments.
