An undisclosed European nation has contracted Exail to deliver five DriX H-8 uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs) for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Initially built for hydrographic tasks, the DriX H-8 is adaptable for various payloads, enabling advanced data acquisition in both coastal and deep-sea environments. Exail has not released further information about the agreement. The USV is capable of remote or supervised autonomous operation and can withstand sea state level 5 conditions. It offers endurance options of 24 hours at 14 knots, seven days at 7 knots, and up to 10 days at 4 knots. The 7.71-meter-long vehicle displaces 1.4 tons and has a draft of 2 meters. Equipped with a 38HP diesel engine, it features a 250-liter fuel tank and consumes around 2 liters of fuel per hour.
