As part of the SLAMF Future Mine Countermeasures System program, the French Navy has received its inaugural mine warfare surface drone. This drone features a towed sonar connected to a mobile operations center stationed at Brest, the nation’s second-largest naval base. The system is projected to become operational by late 2025.
