Estonia’s Defense Forces have received the initial batch of six Caesar self-propelled howitzers following a contract signed in summer 2024. The agreement, involving 12 Caesar MK1 units, was concluded between the Estonian and French defense procurement agencies in partnership with KNDS France. The joint procurement with the French government includes the possibility of additional orders. Although the total contract value remains undisclosed, the cost per Caesar howitzer is estimated at approximately $4.3 million.
