France has acquired 530 Serval 4×4 Lightweight Multirole Armored Vehicles under the Synergy of Contact Reinforced by Versatility and Infovalorisation (SCORPION) program, as announced by Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu. These systems are scheduled for delivery between 2025 and 2031, and the contract includes an option to procure an additional 97 vehicles based on the army’s needs. If all options are exercised, the total value of the deal could exceed 1 billion euros ($1.03 billion).
