The US Air Force has granted GE Aerospace a $5-billion contract to supply F110-GE-129 engines for partner nations through foreign military sales. In service since 1992, the F110-GE-129 has been a key propulsion system for allied-operated fighters like the F-15 and F-16. As part of the deal, GE will provide the engines, spare components, and ongoing support to align with the changing operational demands of global defense partners.
