Rheinmetall has been commissioned by Germany to implement its VTAM (Distributed Naval Training Architecture) simulation systems across six naval installations. These networked simulators will support more effective training and operational coordination for naval forces. Oversight and technical management of the training infrastructure will be handled by the Distributed Training Center at Wilhelmshaven, home to the Naval Support Command.
