Dassault Aviation of France has handed over the 24th and final Rafale fighter jet to the Hellenic Air Force at Tanagra air base. The single-seat jet joined Greece’s 332nd Squadron, complementing the nation’s fleet that also comprises multiple F-16 variants and the incoming F-35 Lightning II aircraft. This latest delivery fulfills the terms of a March 2022 contract for six more Rafales, building on a €2.5 billion ($2.5 billion) deal signed in January 2021 for 18 jets.
