The US Army is set to enhance its HIMARS systems with hypersonic strike capabilities through the introduction of the Blackbeard Ground Launch (GL) missile.
Designed to merge with current HIMARS launchers, the Blackbeard missile will bring Mach 5-level precision firepower while leveraging the platform’s mobility and infrastructure.
Currently under development by Castelion Corporations, the system will utilize autonomous guidance to engage moving and hardened targets, even in demanding combat environments.
