SMARTSHOOTER has landed a $13 million contract to provide its SMASH 2000L advanced fire control systems to the US Army. Known also as SMASH 3000s, these compact devices support rifle units with AI, computer vision, and precision tracking capabilities during combat operations. Weighing just 740 grams and measuring 164 millimeters in length, the system is lightweight and field-ready. It runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with up to 72 hours of active use. The contract falls under the “Transformation In Contact” initiative, which fast-tracks high-tech solutions for frontline troops. Production and delivery will be handled by SMARTSHOOTER’s US branch based in Virginia.
