At IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, India’s Kalyani Group introduced the Multi-terrain Artillery Gun (MArG), a 155mm/45 caliber weapon system that sets a new benchmark as the world’s first of its kind mounted on a 4×4 high-mobility platform. Traditionally, artillery systems above 105mm are deemed too heavy for wheeled vehicles and are typically deployed on 6×6 or larger chassis, making the MArG a significant innovation in mobile firepower.
