KNDS France is demonstrating its comprehensive range of airborne medium-caliber systems, which are supported by deep integration know-how in weapons and ammunition. With over 780 systems currently deployed with multiple European defense forces—including Germany, Romania, and France—the company’s solutions have a broad operational footprint.
Its key systems include the 30M791 gun for the RAFALE jet and the 30M781 cannon for the TIGER helicopter. Also featured are the 20mm 20M621-based cannons adapted for helicopters like the H145M, H225M, and LCH. These systems have seen action in conflict zones such as Afghanistan, Mali, and Lebanon, proving their combat reliability.
To meet the demands of high-tempo warfare, KNDS France has significantly scaled up production of 30mm and 20mm mounts. A doubling of 20mm output and further innovation in smart munitions reflect its readiness for evolving threats. Notably, the 20M621-based turrets and pods are used by German, Romanian, and Indian forces, while the 30M791—firing at 2,500 rounds per minute—equips the RAFALE with unmatched firepower.
