Weibel Scientific has secured its largest-ever contract, worth more than 500 million Danish kroner ($75.5 million), to provide XENTA short-range air defense radars to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. Scheduled for delivery between 2026 and 2027, the radars will be installed in the Norwegian Army’s newly launched National Maneuver Air Defence System. Initiated in 2019 to create the world’s top surveillance radar for target detection and classification, the project propels Weibel closer to its strategic goal of achieving 2.5 billion kroner ($376 million) in annual revenue by the end of the decade.
