Leidos has secured an $87 million deal from NATO’s Communications and Information Agency to design a private cloud-based IT system that will boost cybersecurity and improve the alliance’s network resilience.

The company will lead an international consortium comprising Thales (France), CGI (Germany), Leonardo (Italy), as well as UK partners LA International and NEXOR.

The project will support NATO’s digital modernization by providing scalable, integrated IT services and strengthening cybersecurity across its operational networks to improve efficiency and interoperability.
Hull emphasized that the system will enable faster, more reliable, and secure collaboration within NATO’s trans-Atlantic defense networks.
