Italian defense firm Leonardo and Turkey’s Baykar have entered into a memorandum of understanding to co-develop unmanned aerial systems. The collaboration will see the creation of a joint venture tasked with the design, manufacture, and lifecycle support of UAS, in response to a European market forecasted to reach $100 billion over the next decade.
