The Maldives has officially presented its newly acquired Ajban 4×4 light armored vehicles during the armed forces’ 133rd anniversary celebration in Malé. The showcased Ajban 442A variants are configured for surveillance, command, and communication roles. Manufactured by UAE-based NIMR Automotive, a subsidiary of EDGE Group, the vehicles were delivered under a previously undisclosed defense cooperation arrangement. EDGE described the delivery as part of its continued strategic support to the Maldives National Defence Force with high-mobility, mission-ready solutions.
