US-based Cleo Robotics has introduced the Dronut DD1, an innovative compact aerial robot designed for flight in environments where GPS and conventional drones are ineffective.
Unlike traditional drones with exposed propellers, the DD1 utilizes a ducted fan system, enabling safe operation in tight spaces and near people. The design also makes it quieter, while offering enhanced sensor capabilities and extended radio connectivity.
Equipped with AI-driven navigation, the Dronut DD1 can function in GPS-denied settings, maintaining reliable performance even when satellite signals are blocked, jammed, or unavailable.
