The Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) has received its fourth C-130J-30 Super Hercules, which arrived at RNZAF Base Auckland, Whenuapai, in late October 2024. Designated NZ7014, the aircraft completed a journey of over 14,000 kilometers from Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Georgia, USA, with stopovers in California, Hawaii, and American Samoa. This delivery is part of an ongoing effort to replace the RNZAF’s aging C-130H fleet with five new C-130J-30 aircraft, with the fifth and final aircraft expected to be delivered by the end of 2024.
