The US Navy has granted Northrop Grumman a $267-million deal to supply two additional MQ-4C Triton unmanned aerial systems. The procurement forms part of the navy’s ongoing effort to expand its ISR capabilities through a planned fleet of 27 Tritons. Alongside the drones, the contract also covers the establishment of a main operational hub and necessary support services.
