The Danish Coastal Rescue Service has selected Maritime Partner of Norway to build seven Sjøbjørn 71-class vessels, set to become the backbone of its emergency operations across national waters. These new Danish Rescue Vessels (DRV) are expected to undertake a leading role in more than 600 missions each year, covering areas such as the Kattegat and parts of the Baltic Sea. Once delivered, they will operate from key stations in Anholt, Gedser, Grenå, Nexø, Østerby, Rønne, and Skagen, supporting critical salvage, assistance, and rapid-response efforts.
